VBAR_EL1
64-bitTrapWhere the exception vector table starts. On taking an exception to EL1 the processor loads the base of whichever of the 16 vector slots applies and branches there, so relocating all handlers means writing this one register.

Fields
| Bits | Field | Bits | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 63:12 | BASE[63:12] | 52 | 0x0 (0) | Base address of the vector table, 4KB aligned. Bits 11:0 are read as zero. |
| 11:2 | SEL[11:2] | 10 | 0x0 (0) | Which of the 16 vector slots to use as an offset from BASE. Software normally writes zero and lets the hardware pick the slot from the exception type and originating level. |
| 1:0 | — | 2 | Not assigned to a documented field. Values written here are reserved and should be treated as read-as-zero unless the architecture says otherwise. |
